About the Role

People and Culture Branch partner with the business to inspire an environment for great leadership and people capability to build on our outstanding organisation for today and the future.

As Wellbeing, Health and Safety Administration officer you will provide administration support services to a broad range of projects and initiatives and provide a customer-focused service to all internal and external customers ensuring the branch operates in a highly confidential and professional manner at all times.

Key duties include:

• Manage the health surveillance program for employees including liaising with providers and managing sensitive medical information.
• Coordinate WHS initiatives and events such as flu vaccinations, drug and alcohol testing and audiometric testing
• Manage the WHS intranet page.
• Financial processing & reporting
• General administration and coordination for the WHS team
• Manage WHS Outlook mailboxes
• Manage WHS training courses through bookings, financial management and general administration.
• Assist in the preparation of important documents, project materials and presentation materials.

The role is currently based in Nambour but will be relocated to Maroochydore upon completion of Sunshine Coast City Hall.

About you

You will possess a Certificate III in Project Management, Human Resource Management, Wellbeing, Health and Safety or Business Administration and/or equivalent relevant experience.

You will have strong time management, work prioritisation and organisation skills with demonstrated ability to work both independently and interdependently to ensure work tasks are delivered on time and to a high standard.

You will be a strong communicator with excellent and customer service skills with demonstrated ability to prepare standard business correspondence and use initiative and sound judgement to guide customers and resolve problems often requiring tact, diplomacy and sensitivity.

You will be proficient in relevant computer software, applications, systems, databases and mobile devices which could include Microsoft office suite, council reporting, electronic data content management, web publishing, customer management, financial and human resource systems.
