About the Role

The Development Services Branch are responsible for enabling sustainable development for the Sunshine Coast community through working with industry stakeholders.

As the Project and Systems Analyst, you will assist in delivering improvement projects, facilitating successful project implementation while providing support through the entire Project Management lifecycle.

This role holds a particular focus on continuous improvement and excellent customer service. Other key responsibilities include:

• Contribute at a high level to the corporate information technology portfolio including working closely with user support groups
• Provide support on all aspects of the Project Management lifecycle, including scoping, requirement gathering, project planning, communication, testing, change management, training and implementation
• Work with a wide range of stakeholders to explain initiatives and train end users, including the ability to continue to interact with stakeholders with a focus on providing continual improvement

The role located at the brand new Sunshine Coast City Hall, based in the heart of Maroochydore CBD.

About you

You will possess recognised qualifications in IT, business analysis, research or a closely related discipline. Coupled with formal training will be your experience in understanding and the application of legislation, policies, standards, regulations and procedures in the field.

Proficiency in applications, systems, databases and mobile devices including the Microsoft Suite, electronic data management, process mapping and customer management and property software is essential to your success.

Strong project management skills and a sound business acumen with capacity to prepare professional reports, presentations and project planning & policy documents will be highly regarded. Coinciding with this will be strong investigative, analytical and research skills to diagnose and resolve challenges.
