Sunset Ridge School District Hiring for Special Education Teacher-Summer Job at Northfield, IL Full Time

Sunset Ridge School District is looking for special education teachers for this summer. Extended school year services in the district are provided via a tutoring model, the teachers work either 1-1 or with small groups. The schedule is flexible and typically worked out between the teacher and the parents across June, July and August. Hours vary from between 6-60 over the course of the full summer, depending on teacher preference. In person instruction is required. Compensation is $62.10/hour of instruction (which assumes 30 minutes of planning time). The student’s current special education teacher will share the curriculum currently being taught for use in instruction. Content areas may include reading, writing or math.
