We are currently seeking to hire a motivated, forward-thinking Director, Talent Acquisition to lead the Talent Acquisition team responsible for recruiting leadership roles within in our communities! This role will be instrumental in driving the full cycle recruitment process and implementing the organization’s recruitment strategy. The Director will assist in building strategy, while partnering with leaders to understand and anticipate hiring needs, manage, coach, and align the recruiting team to successfully achieve hiring goals.

As the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for bringing proven best practices around recruitment, recruiting operations, reporting, analytics, and sourcing. You will serve as a talent acquisition partner to our business leaders and as a subject matter expert in managing our current and future workforce needs.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Talent Acquisition Managers, providing mentorship to ensure optimal team performance
• Monitor and manage all team activity on a continuous basis, ensuring appropriate distribution of workloads
• Coach and develop the team’s ability to identify candidates from relevant networks, online and internal databases, employee referrals and passive candidates through networking and research
• Analyze satisfaction survey results to ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience is being provided
• Work with the Vice President, Talent Acquisition and Recruitment to analyze and communicate recruitment trends, results, and insights to drive future recruitment activity, improve compliance and reduce risk
• Track metrics and pipeline activity as well as manage reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Share best recruitment sourcing strategies across the team, and set expectations around processes and timelines
• Guide improvement on techniques to build talent pipelines throughout all portfolios
• Work with VP, Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Marketing Manager, and programmatic vendor to analyze return on investment on each talent sourcing strategy per channel and develop the yearly recruitment advertising strategy
• Work with the Organizational Development Talent Strategy and Regional Human Resources teams to identify talent gaps hindering achievement of business goals and strategy, including creation of plans and tools to close those gaps through talent acquisition
• Commitment to and an understanding of the sense of urgency associated with the talent sourcing process
• Select and manage ongoing relationships with employment agencies and external recruiters to ensure satisfactory standards of service.
• May work with senior executives to manage internal transfers and/or promotions.
• Coordinate with other organizational resources to provide input to the preparation of equal employment opportunity (EEO), affirmative action plan (AAP), statistics and reports.
• Provide guidance to recruiters on developing and implementing problem-solving strategies, which adhere to established policies, procedures, and business plan
• Hire, train, manage, and evaluate a predominantly professional staff; may manage supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, and 10 or more years of Talent Acquisition experience including 5 years of supervisory experience, or equivalent relevant work experience, e.g., each year of work experience may be substituted for each year of education required
• Comprehensive knowledge of talent acquisition concepts and principles including experience developing talent pipelines and communities in a large national or global corporation
• Demonstrated use of an Applicant Tracking System (preferably iCIMS)
• Excellent project management and written/verbal communication skills
• Ability to lead a team in completion of complex tasks
• Expertise using a variety of sourcing tools, processes & techniques
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to administer established policies and procedures but may have some impact on departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and procedural change
• Ability to work as part of a team, manage competing demands, accept constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible
