ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Point person for all service-related logistics and warehousing activities including inbound and outbound activities at 3PL and other Forward Service locations.
  • Develops and manages logistics strategies. Monitors and controls all service logistics and warehousing activities to meet company goals for inventory and liquidity. Works with other intra department stakeholder team to enable execution of the plan.
  • Coordinates with 3PL, Logistics entities and internal Field service team to meet the on-time delivery targets using all shipment modes- FTL, LTL and Parcel.
  • Uses the company’s ERP systems, local databases, and spreadsheets to plan execute and . Communicate plan to upstream functions like vendors and downstream functions like Service Supply Chain and Regional Field service personnel.
  • Create and daily/weekly warehousing and logistics KPIs and devise alternative plans when gaps arise.
  • Develops, communicates, and maintains Standard Operating Procedures, maintains training documentation on “How To’s”.
  • Coordinates communication and is a point of contact for service-related logistics activities through weekly sync meetings.
  • Secondary point of department contact to interact with Finance, Accounting and Compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, or any closely related technical or analytical field.
  • Strong knowledge of data, ing, and analytics
  • 8-10 years related experience in Supply Chain functions.
  • 2+ years’ manager experience with at least one direct .
  • Intermediate to advanced skills using Excel (i.e., Pivot Tables, V-lookups, Formulas and Macros)
  • Knowledge of ERP and MRP system
  • Understanding of Supply, Demand planning and Inventory management principles.

Working Conditions

  • Position is at Sunnova HQ office in Houston.
  • Hybrid schedule of 3 days a week in an open office and 2 days a week work from home.
  • Approximately upto 10% estimated travel time per quarter, mostly near the end of the financial quarter.
