ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Log internal and external customer orders into the ERP system and spreadsheets.
  • Create shipping documents in ERP and carriers’ system.
  • Coordinates pick up appointments with carriers and 3PL warehouses.
  • Work closely with freight companies to ensure that orders are processed and shipped correctly.
  • Processes claims for damaged / lost shipments timely with carriers.
  • Communicates with customer’s traffic and routing departments.
  • Troubleshoot order fulfillment and delivery issues.
  • Coordinates with other departments to resolve purchase order problems.
  • Assists in Internal and External Audit requests for information, as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or business related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in related position
  • Prior experience in customer service and/or logistics
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills – formatting, formulas, Vlookup, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • APICS certifications


Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Supply Chain Management experience.
  • Understanding of logistics and warehousing processes
  • Inventory Control/Records Management experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Working Conditions

  • Position is at Sunnova HQ office in Houston.
  • Hybrid schedule of 3 days a week in an open office and 2 days a week work from home.
  • Approximately up to 10-15% estimated travel time per quarter, mostly at the end of the quarter.
