This is an unorthodox job post, but I couldn’t figure out how to explain the position in a typical way. I got into the solar industry about 3 years ago and since then I have somehow found myself as a partner of a solar company with offices across the country. At 27, I am very fortunate and a lot of it has to do with the boom of the solar industry and some luck. My downside is very obvious and its lack of organization. We are now opening up new offices in Virginia and South Carolina. My business partner and I decided on Charleston, SC being the spot for us to make the east coast headquarters. With all of our traveling I am the one booking flights and hotels and it is not going well to say the least. I am acting as if flights are Ubers, booking them the day of or best case scenario the day before, and hotels are typically booked when I arrive in that city. It is not a great system. We need someone who can arrange all of our travel including flights, hotels, dinner reservations, occasionally assisting with rides to the airport, scheduling appointments with our CPA and accountant and anything in between. In the beginning, this role would include recruiting managers for our new offices, but that is something that should be passed to someone else in the near future. We are looking to establish a long term relationship with this person and a high level of trust. Experience is not required. This individual needs to be confident in their ability to influence, and cannot be reserved or shy as they will be expected to sometimes be involved in the business aspect of our company or negotiate on our behalf.
