Senior Analyst – Finance

• Deliver accurate financial close, reporting and analysis, and process improvements to support the Suncorp T&T expense reporting
• Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane based
• 12 month fixed-term opportunity

The Role

As the Senior Analyst, you will collaborate with T&T leaders, T&T Domain Operations, T&T finance colleagues, other DCFO leaders, offshore partners and other stakeholders to provide management reporting, forecasting and budgeting services across Suncorp Group as it relates to T&T. This will include amongst other tasks, projects financial reviews, contract renewal reviews, workforce/partner reporting & analysis and process improvements.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide quality, relevant and insightful analysis on the Expense and FTE financial performance for responsible Domains within T&T and overall workforce/partner reporting
• Provide management reporting, forecasting and budgeting services
• Deliver standardised reporting, integrated solutions and performance management insights
• Build relationships with key stakeholders to develop an in-depth understanding of business drivers and trends that supports management reporting
• Collaborate with relevant team members within DCFO and T&T and leverage data resources to address the defined requirements
• Undertaking reviews of Project financials and contract renewals
• Lead process improvement projects in T&T Finance and support wider F&A projects

Skills and experience

• 3+ years’ experience within a financial services organisation
• Strong analytical capability with background in business analysis, management reporting and / or decision support
• Experience in analysis, executive reporting and an interest in data/financial modelling
• Proven track record in managing relationships based on mutual trust and respect
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and Word and utilises Microsoft Teams, OneNote, SharePoint and OneDrive
• Understanding of financial and business systems (e.g. TM1, Oracle / PeopleSoft, Cognos)
• Qualification in Finance/Accounting or Business
