As the Finance Analyst you will be a trusted finance business partner to Suncorp business, providing quality and timely management reporting, financial planning and decision support services to business leaders.

About the Role

• Finance business partner role to Suncorp’s enabling functions.
• Provide quality, relevant, and insightful management reporting and expense analysis to key stakeholders.
• Support divisional financial planning to achieve set targets.
• Provide decision support to business leaders and their teams.
• Understand the information and analytical needs of key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with relevant team members within Finance & Advice and leverage data resources to address the defined requirements.
• Collaborate with other leaders, team members, offshore partners, and stakeholders to deliver standardised reporting, integrated solutions, and performance management insights
• Build relationships with key stakeholders to develop an in-depth understanding of business drivers and trends that supports management reporting.

What you need to bring to the role

• Qualifications in Accounting, Business or Finance as appropriate.
• 3+ years’ experience within a financial services organisation.
• Experience in a complex corporate environment is preferred.
• Experience in analysis and management reporting.
• Experience in utilisation of finance systems (Oracle, TM1, Cognos).
• Solid Excel skills and ideally data skills (Power Pivot, Power BI).
• A track record in managing relationships based on mutual trust and respect.
• Passion for process improvement.
• Membership or close to qualification in a recognised professional accounting body (CA, ACA, CPA).
