Are you an enthusiastic for web technology and enjoy managing cloud-based platforms? We are looking for two Web Technology Specialists, one senior and one with mid-career experience.

The Web Technology Specialist is responsible to plan, organize and operate the web technology services platform in support of hosting Suncor’s external web sites. Assist with the development of governance, processes and methods related to the reliable operation of the web service platform and establish an effective working relationship with the platform site owners and the web platform service provider, Sitecore.

Minimum Requirements:
Four years experience working to support web technology platforms and continuous monitoring systems

Hands-on experience working with Azure Kubernetes, Docker and GitHub

Educational background in computer science, information technology or related discipline

Fundamental knowledge of Agile and DevOps principles

Software skills, including: C#, ASP.NET, Java and SQL

Responsibilities:
Develop, operate and maintain the Sitecore Cloud managed services and GitHub environment in support of site content developers

Proactively manage the web platform service lifecycle

Assist in establishing governance and development standards for the operation of the web services

Investigate and resolve technical issues

Location and other Key Details:
You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 – 6th Ave S.W.

Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
