Position: Licensed Insurance Sales Specialist Location: Urbandale, IA (Flexible: Remote work available for candidates located anywhere in the USA except New York and California)

Join our team as a Licensed Insurance Sales Specialist and play a pivotal role in our expansion efforts. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to solicit and provide exceptional customer service for workers compensation insurance, focusing on new clients. Key Responsibilities:
- Solicit workers compensation insurance for new clients, including quoting, binding, and providing Certificates of Insurance (COI).
- Utilize your commercial insurance expertise to guide clients through the insurance process, addressing inquiries, explaining coverage options, and ensuring a seamless experience.
- Leverage your sales skills to cross-sell additional insurance products and services to meet clients comprehensive needs.
- Conduct cold calling initiatives to reach out to a provided list of 7/11 business owners (Captive) and effectively communicate the benefits of our insurance solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets, contributing to the growth and success of the organization.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, policies, and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Additional Details:
- Compensation varies based on the number of licenses held by the candidate.
- Less than 10 licenses: $13 per hour
- 10 – 20 licenses: $17 per hour
- 21 – 40 licenses: Negotiable between $17 – $23 per hour (higher pay for more licenses)
- 40 – 50 licenses: $27 per hour
- This role is Contract to Hire.
- Cold calling experience and comfort with outbound sales initiatives is essential.
- Property and Casualty License is required.
- Prior experience in the insurance industry, specifically with commercial insurance, is strongly preferred.
- Customer service experience with a focus on cross-sales is a plus.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Licensed individual in all 50 states (Property and Casualty License required).
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance, particularly workers compensation, and the ability to effectively explain complex insurance concepts to clients.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting client needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and establish lasting relationships.
- Self-motivated and results-driven attitude, with a strong work ethic and a desire to excel in a competitive sales environment.
