Sun Mechanical Contracting, Inc Hiring for CAD Commercial Operator at Tucson, AZ Full Time

In addition to creating “Shop” drawings for fabrication, you will be responsible for creating and reading detailed installation plans for ductwork. Providing consistent and accurate material take-offs for purchasing is essential to this role.

3D modeling and navigating combined trade models in a 3D environment for coordination both internally and externally.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); One to two years prior experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience with CAD or Commercial HVAC.

Trade Schooling, Or CAD Certification

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as plumbing engineering plans, architectural plans and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine s and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving subcontractors.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

*Valid Driver’s License and Good Driving Record Required

Pay: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour
