Bookkeeper-Accountant (FRISCO)

Flexible work schedule, part-time, permanent year round Bookkeeper for a Bookkeeping Services Company with a wide variety of clients.

Job Description: The Bookkeeper will be a key member of the accounting team responsible for maintaining accurate financial reporting for small businesses, homeowner associations and non-profit companies handled by the Bookkeeping Service Company. Responsibilities include accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and journal entry preparation, and bank account reconciliation. The bookkeeper communicates with business owners, vendors, homeowners, property managers and Board members.

Job Requirements: Must be proficient in QuickBooks and Windows Office Suite Programs. Candidate must have knowledge and experience of basic bookkeeping. Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision, be self-motivated, trustworthy, highly organized, extremely detail oriented, reliable, and able to multitask. Strong sense of teamwork is also highly desired.

Position Summary: 25-30 hours per week, or more to start, with possibility of additional hours dependent on performance and work flow. Flexible work schedule and Frisco office location with potential to work remotely. Start date ASAP. Hourly employees are eligible for health stipend, accrued Paid Time Off (PTO). Simple IRA matching is available after 2 years employment.
