Our client is a multidisciplinary consultancy providing sustainable solutions to meet the planning, engineering design and project delivery needs of the property, infrastructure, environment and energy markets. Due to their expanding workload they are currently recruiting for a Civil Engineer with a design background to be based at the company’s regional offices in Glasgow, Scotland. The role will include regular co-operation and inter-office working with other regional teams in line with their ‘one team’ culture. 

This award-winning Infrastructure Team is one of the leading civil engineering consultancies delivering high quality technical support to the residential and property sector, banks, private equity, blue chip clients and the public sector. 

The successful candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate qualification and experience in one or more of the following areas.  

Essential Skills and Experience: 

• Qualified Civil / Infrastructure Engineer- 4+ years experience

• Background of delivering drawing and design services for private and public sector clients across sectors – examples would be -residential, retail, commercial, energy, rail, highways, education and healthcare. 

• Commercial awareness; 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; 

• Proficient knowledge and expertise in the use of software packages relevant to civil infrastructure design as well as AutoCAD/ Civil 3D/ Microsoft Word and Excel 

• Clean UK driving license.
