POSITION SUMMARY:

Sugarbush is seeking an HR Generalist/Recruiter whose primary focus is to develop and implement effective recruitment and retention strategies in support of the Resort’s goal to develop a team of skilled, high energy and motivated staff. Promote the resort’s culture through out the organization. Prepare and maintain employee handbook and policies and procedures manual. Maintain the HRIS records and employee files, perform benefits administration, and complete projects and tasks as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for all aspects of recruiting: job fairs, advertisements, photos, social media posts, recruiting materials, job postings, applicant screening/tracking, recruitment website management, and follow up with applicants and managers.
• Collaborate with Marketing on Sugarbush social media sites regarding recruiting materials and updates.
• Provides support and guidance to hiring managers at all levels in the recruitment process.
• Research recruiting trends and stay abreast of competitor activity to ensure that Sugarbush stays current in the recruitment landscape.
• Answer phones, greet and assist applicants, guests and staff; provide information on an ongoing basis.
• Data entry, filing and maintenance of personnel files.
• Assist with employee orientations, coordination of special functions, parties, and other events and projects.
• Coordination and point person for Employment Referral program.
• Ensure positive, professional, enthusiastic representation of company and Human Resources and demonstrates support of company mission, standards, and values.
• Assist in other areas of Human Resources and company as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a BS/BA or equivalent experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, good multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities, a proactive, motivated work ethic and be capable of interacting with all Resort staff members.
• Must be proficient with computers including Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of company personnel, as well as job applicants, outside firms and government agencies.
• Highly organized and able to work in a busy and sometimes stressful environment.
• Comfortable with postings and advertising on job boards and social media sites such as Indeed, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
