Subway Hiring for Payroll Administrator at Bury St. Edmunds Full Time

Payroll Administrator – 24 hours per week – Immediate start available

The Daljo Group operates 19 Subway stores across East Anglia with offices in Bury St Edmunds. We are looking for a Payroll Administrator based in our central office near the Sugar Beet Factory, Bury St Edmunds to complete the payroll & new starter processes for our store and field team.

The role will include the following tasks:

• Sending out welcome emails & collating all new starter forms e.g. HMRC forms, proof of right to work, onboarding forms.
• Issuing digital contracts and tracking e-signatures & documents, maintaining these records.
• Setting new employees up on QuickBooks, payroll timesheets, as a payee and on Subways internal systems
• Removing & processing leavers from the above systems. Sending out exit interviews/questionnaires.
• Responding to and resolving payroll queries with the support of the Operations team.
• Run the monthly payroll cycle for hourly and salaried employees on QuickBooks, scheduling payments & processing pension contributions (NEST)
• Other administrative duties as requested by the senior team

The successful candidate will have previous admin experience ideally within a fast-paced HR or payroll environment. They should demonstrate efficient ways of working and be able to organise their own workflow ensuring accuracy whilst working at pace.

• Experience using QuickBooks or other HRM highly desirable.
• Numerate with strong IT (Word, Excel & Outlook) and data analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
• Confidence to deal with all levels within the company.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience of working with confidential and sensitive data.
• Ability to plan schedules and organise tasks according to priorities.
• Ability to prioritise and manage a diverse workload.
• Friendly and approachable whilst remaining professional in a fast paced environment.
