Subway Hiring for Bookkeeping Assistant Job at Docklands Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper who has an extremely high attention to detail and can provide a high level of accuracy.

Quickbook experience is a must. The willingness and ability to quickly learn a new software is essential. You must be proficient in ALL areas of Bookkeeping.

You will be responsible for tasks including:

• Setup and managing of accounting systems (Quickbooks, MYOB)
• Accounts payable and receivable reconciliations
• BAS completion and returns
• Assist with creditor and debtor management as required
• Data Entry
• Payroll processing and management
• Lodge statutory obligations including payroll tax (Superannuation etc.)
• Assist with creating invoices as needed
• Preparing Journals
• Periodic Bank reconciliations
• EOFY Reporting
• Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Monthly reports
• General administrative tasks
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Internal Management Reporting – daily, weekly and monthly

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years Bookkeeping experience and exceptional communication skills. The successful candidate with have strong excel skills, and demonstrate initiative in all aspects of the role.

Will need to have quiet home office, fast Internet service, Laptop, phone and will need to travel to the city for work. Additionally a Covid-19 full vaccination is mandatory.
