SubC Imaging Hiring for Software Quality Assurance Analyst at Clarenville, NL Full Time

As a Software Quality Assurance Analyst at SubC Imaging, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, perfectly functioning software applications to our customers through testing and evaluating new and existing programs to identify bugs and other user experience issues. Success in this role will be demonstrated by providing quality work output, screening for errors, and refining usability throughout the software development and implementation process.

This is a permanent full-time position and can be done remotely or at our Clarenville office.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, and acceptance level testing on camera software and user interfaces

• Create, implement and maintain test scenarios across multiple products

• Recreate steps taken by users or tests to help identify defects

• Identify, document, and report failures/bugs; keep meticulous notes and maintain consistent tracking of issues

• Assist in the debugging and correction of issues found

• Execute test scripts and review results

• Improve the documentation of QA testing practices to enhance their repeatability, saving time and money and encouraging testing standardization and best practices

Qualifications

• 2+ years software QA experience

• Detail and results oriented

• Commitment to learning and the ability to adapt to change

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

Additional Assets

• Coding experience

• Familiar with:

• software development cycle

• software quality methodologies

• issue tracking software such as JIRA
