SubC Imaging is seeking a skilled software developer who is a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. Your duties will primarily revolve around building software by writing code, modifying software to fix errors, adapting it to new hardware, improving its performance, and upgrading interfaces.

This is a full-time position and can be done at our Clarenville office or remotely within Canada.

What you’ll do as a Software Developer at SubC

• Develop and modify applications in frameworks such as ASP.NET Core, Blazor, WPF, and Xamarin

• Write clean, scalable code based on specifications using .NET programming languages

• Assist the support team with software tickets

• Collaborate with internal teams by offering input and suggestions on application development and direction

• Work with departments on any technical issues including software system design and maintenance

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software; adapt to new hardware; improve performance and interfaces

• Help with documentation development

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient in C# with experience developing WPF or ASP.NET Core applications

• Understanding of MVVM, dependency injection and inversion of control

• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment

• Excellent communication skills

• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Experience with any of the below will be considered an asset

• Git or comparable version control

• Microsoft Azure suite of services including Azure Pipelines

• Streaming technologies such as WebRTC, SRT, RTMP, and RTSP

• Web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery

• Web application communication protocols such as SignalR and REST

• Xamarin Android development

• Jira, or comparable Agile project management
