CANDIDATE MANAGER (RECRUITMENT RESOURCER)

About The Role

The central role of the Candidate Manager is to process the daily applications for internship and job vacancies and engage with applicants to understand the next steps on their employment journey. The role requires building relationships with candidates and working with our Talent Acquisition Specialists to match the applicant skills to vacancies with our network of employers. Most of the work will be on the phone calling to discuss experience, check qualifications, support to develop CVs, whilst providing information, advice and guidance for interviews and employment. You will be responsible for engaging with all new applications, keep track of all applicant progressions, and manage all administrative duties.

About You

This role is a vital first link to our applicants and supporting them in their transition from their study or previous job into better job. This is a challenging role in a fast paced, target driven and demanding environment and this brings great rewards. The role will suit an individual who has experience of working in an office, has a great personality, and an excellent communicator. You should have an exemplary telephone manner managing both incoming and outgoing calls. You should be able to initiate and manage candidate relationships, understanding their requirements and needs. It will be advantageous if you have experience of internship placement or that of recruitment resourcing. You should be reliable, responsible and be able to work independently and have a collaborative mindset. You should be able to effectively manage your time along with numerous calls and caseloads showing your continuous drive and determination.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with all applicants.
• Proactively search, attract, and shortlist candidates using JobAdder, SignalHire, LinkedIn and online job boards.
• Place and update job adverts and monitor and process applications and responses efficiently.
• Initiate and manage candidate relationships, predominantly over the telephone, understanding their requirements and needs.
• Ability to meet deadlines and targets.
• Determine suitability and qualify candidates by adopting an efficient and effective screening process.
• Work towards set targets, deadlines, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Maintenance of various databases including adding new candidates and CV entry.
• Manage incoming calls and daily preliminary assessment of new applications, make outbound calls to existing database.
• Ensuring strong relationships are maintained with partners and the agents who refer candidates.
• Pro-actively source suitable opportunities and direct routes into employment.
• Screening and Selecting – Pre-screening, via telephone, candidate suitability for the internship program, location, job vacancies to make sure they meet the requirements of the employer.
• Assign candidates to our Talent Acquisition Specialists for placement.
• Liaise with Talent Acquisition Specialists with regards to interviews and job offers. Follow up with them, confirm placement and invoice employer recruitment fee. Confirm payment in agreed manner.
• Build and maintain good professional relationships with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to meet candidates’ requirements.
• Build and maintain an effective rapport with interns to ensure that all participants are given appropriate assistance to enhance their chances of starting and sustaining work with the host company.
• Maintain data management of all information, ensuring it is fully updated and accurate in JobAdder, and undertake any other administrative duties required. Including collection of agreements, training plans, and performance appraisals from the employers and candidates.
• Confidently, and professionally promote STUDY AND WORK’S internship and job placement services, by representing the organisation at appropriate events, e.g. networking events and employment fairs and also to telephone enquirers.
• Liaise with candidates, and partner agents to advise job vacancies. Produce and circulate a weekly job bulletin to all the key stakeholders and update website and our social pages.
• Engage with candidates via LinkedIn and build relationship with them for candidate referrals.
• Attend staff meetings and staff training as required.

KEY TARGETS

These Targets Will Be Set And Agreed Every Three Months, And Will Include, But Not Be Limited To

This position has key targets to be met for success.

• All new applicants are contacted within 48 hours.
• Screen and format all CV’s.
• Update profile and prepare a summary profile for every candidate interviewed.
• Prepare a short list of at least 20 best candidates for placement per week.
• Achieve conversion rate of at least 25% from shortlist to placement by working collaboratively with Talent Acquisition Specialists.
• Candidate satisfaction, offer a brilliant applicant experience for everyone who applies.
• Ongoing employment support to candidates who are placed in internship and jobs.
• Employer partner satisfaction levels.
• Ensure all processes and compliance procedures are followed.
• Support in maintaining applicant records.
• Assisting and ing to Talent Acquisition Specialists.
• Positive Google Reviews.

You will have the flexibility to work 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.
