Stuart Olson is Looking for Material Coordinator Full Time

Our Offer to You:

• Site: CNRL Horizon
• Schedule: Pre-turnaround schedule of 4 days on, 3 days off, OR 10 days on, 4 days off, 10 hours per day.
• Turnaround schedule starting May 15, 6 days on, 1 day off, 12 hours a day. Day and night shifts available.
• Travel: Flights provided from Edmonton and Calgary. Generous travel allowances are provided for those travelling from out of province.
• Accommodations: Camp accommodations provided (Jack and Jill rooms)

Stuart Olson is searching for an experienced Material Coordinator to join us for our 2023 turnaround at the CNRL Horizon site. This job provides the opportunity to earn above average pay with overtime. Camp accommodations include jack and jill rooms for an elevated stay. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary for locals and for those travelling from out of province we will provide a generous travel allowance to get you to Alberta. Responsibilities

• Execute material coordination and fulfillment activities supporting the successful execution of maintenance and operating activities for the Horizon site.
• Ensure that all Purchase Orders are fully received and the materials meet the quality standards required
• Coordinate with suppliers to complete:, repairs, returns and other related material expediting and receiving activities.
• Coordinate supplier visits required for sourcing deliverables
• Work effectively with peers to ensure timely, cost effective delivery of goods and services.
• Follow and assist Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ material coordination experience;
• Working knowledge of material procurement and logistics best practices
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work based on business demand
• Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol testing

Working Conditions

• Working in and around noise and dust
• Working both indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions
• Must be clean shaven
• Personal safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots,

Physical Requirements

• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 lbs. with assistance
• Stand or walk for long periods of time
• Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects
• Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects
