Your own mission
The Talent Manager role is a newly created position within our People Team that will play a fundamental role in providing strategic direction on talent, learning, career, and leadership development. The position will play a critical role in creating the pipeline of future talent to meet the operational and leadership requirements of the organization through developing the strategy and implementation of talent initiatives that support career progression & mobility, performance, succession planning, and retention.
What will I be doing?
Developing and implementing the Talent and Succession Planning philosophy and strategy across the organization, making sure it is fit for purpose and aligned to business objectives.
Working closely with our People Business Partners (Tech and Business) to map and mobilize internal talent aligned with current and future business needs.
Developing a consistent perspective of what high performance and high potential look like at Stuart, as well as the means to identify, assess and develop high-performing, high-potential people.
Conducting and leading talent mapping, talent assessments, succession planning, talent reviews, and organizational development work to meet future and changing business needs.
Partnering closely with Learning & Talent Development to create and deliver talent management programs for all employees, including top talent Hi-Po programs and strategic development programs for leaders.
Overseeing the development and innovation of all aspects of the competency and career growth behavioral frameworks.
Acting as a trusted career advisor with Department Heads and top talent.
Implement strategies to enhance career mobility, diversity, and employee engagementActivating internal talent pipelines for succession, with an understanding of the critical roles and future capability requirements.
Measuring and reporting the impact and ROI of talent initiatives.
Championing and creating a talent-focused culture.
Managing the talent business plan and overseeing budget planning and workforce plans.
What do we need from you?
Experience in building a Talent infrastructure from the ground up or over 4 years experience leading talent management processes and initiatives, using a range of assessment and selection techniques and approaches.
A growth-oriented individual with a passion for people and career development.
Track record of delivering impactful outcomes on succession planning, mobility, diversity, and retention programs – excited to hear about your experience
Strong project management skills and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
Able to use people and data analytics to drive decisions and programs.
Up to date with industry trends and best practices with the knowledge on how to apply them.
Strong understanding of diversity, equality, and inclusion – this topic is important to us
Experience in partnering and influencing senior stakeholders.
Exceptional communication, delivery, and advisory skills
Ability to lead continuous organizational change and development.
