The Role:

Newly created Senior Manager – FP&A position has come available. This role manages three Senior Finance Analysts. The team is responsible for delivering monthly reporting and analysis to the Executive team, which will provide commercial insight into current and future performance of Stryker South Pacific.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Director, this role will partner with the SFD and Stryker SSP President to develop and manage the process for delivering the long term business performance for the enterprise. This role will lead the preparation of APAC reporting (incl. reports summarizing the organization’s current and forecasted financial position and business activity analyzing past, present, and expected operations).

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the financial planning and projection processes such as strategy, annual budget and regular projections to Corporate
• Build capability across the enterprise to create robust planning, forecasting and reporting cycles for SSP
• Understanding the enterprise level impact (financial and non-financial) of actions taken within SSP Divisions and effectively communicating these potential impacts to stakeholders.
• Drive collaboration efforts across Divisions & functions through improved communication and thought leadership
• Where relevant support the accounting team establish and maintain a strong internal controls environment to ensure Sarbanes Oxley requirements are met, approval of expenditures are made in line with established policies, overall risks of misstatements in accounting records or misappropriation of assets are adequately mitigated
• Become an active member of Finance Leadership team to provide insight into ongoing performance and highlighting opportunities to drive sales and margin performance.
• Support the wider SSP business through knowledge sharing, financial acumen communication and cross divisional projects.

Skills & Requirements

• 10+ years related experience
• Ability to demonstrate strategic business planning approaches, change management strategies and business improvement techniques
• Extensive experience and proven track record in leading and developing a high performing team
• Proven experience providing decision support and finance/business intelligence that drove business results
• Demonstrated track record of success within the FP&A space in managing an enterprise level P&L (including providing analysis and reporting)
• CPA or CA qualification required
