Stryker Hiring for Medical Education Lead – ENT Job at Glasgow, Scotland Full Time

Are you passionate about Education and Health Care? Please join and develop the Medical Education function for ENT (Ear-Nose-Throat) Europe. In this exciting role you will develop the success, engagement, and strategy of Medical Education for the European market focused on the Stryker ENT portfolio of products.

Specifically, in this role, you will partner with the leadership team & the in-country support organizations (for cadaver labs and workshops) for:


  • Educational program planning & KPI setting

  • Speaker bureau set-up

  • Contract creation with events teams and HCPs

  • Managing Medical Education events on site for set up and break down of the events

  • Collaborating with local in country events teams to communicate the logistics of events


In addition to Medical Education, this role will coordinate marketing and sales to deliver ENT education to our internal sales professionals.

All duties will be in close alignment and formal dotted line reporting structures to the United States ENT team and close collaboration with other divisional Education teams of Head & Neck, Endoscopy, and Neuro Technology Europe. This role will also play a role on the European Medical Education Council to share best practices, learn from other businesses and drive further collaboration

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Relationship management skills in a sales/marketing function within a team environment or independently
  • Strong product and procedural knowledge
  • Understanding and knowledge of key competitive landscape
  • Support development of educational content utilizing HCP input
  • Support program development with guidance from others
  • Maintain collaboration with broader Medical Education/product marketing/sales training, etc.
  • Lead Medical Education program coordination, logistics and content delivery
  • Organize in-class or virtual courses
  • Identify what we want to measure/track and most appropriate method
  • Understand our Medical Education and business strategy
  • Provide input to future plans
  • Assist in defining business metrics
  • Provide data and input to plan
  • Understand KOLs profile and starts networking
  • Understand and provide input to training and Medical Education workstreams
  • Gain expertise in Medical Education programs and adapt programs with customer’s needs
  • Understand the different communication channel strategies
  • Partner with Marketing Communications to develop communications plan

Education/Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related discipline required
  • MBA preferred
  • 4+ years of work experience required
  • 2+ years medical device or Medical Education experience preferred
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
  • Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
  • Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
