Our Finance team was formed in 2021, and are still honing the best processes possible for invoicing and payables, including best ways of managing overdue payments.

Here’s what you can expect to be working on as an Accounts Assistant at Street Group:

• Helping set up the best processes for managing invoices, overdues, and chasing debt
• Working closely with our Sales and Customer Support teams to ensure new clients get set up on the invoicing system promptly and accurately

• Processing purchase invoices we receive, ensuring they are correct and are authorised
• Communicating clearly with current and past clients to ensure invoices are paid on time
• Managing any other ad-hoc tasks as required (e.g. staff expenses, ordering equipment)

Who we’re looking for

• You can manage difficult stakeholders in a personable manner, to get the best resolution for the business
• You have some experience using accounting software (we use Xero)
• You have experience managing day to day invoicing/purchasing

Salary
£22k – £25k dependent on experience. However, sometimes the perfect person is far more or less experienced than we anticipated. In these situations planned ranges go out the window. If you think that might be the case, please apply and just let us know.
