The Role

The Accounts Receivable Officer is responsible for all accounts receivable functions for our carconnect business. The Accounts Receivable Officer assists in tracking business revenue by ensuring payments are received and accurately recorded.

A typical day will see you:

• Managing all accounts receivable
• Bank reconciliation
• Assist in calculating monthly sales incentives
• Supporting month-end processes as required
• Ad hoc financial and operational reporting
• Ad hoc tasks as requested by management from time to time

Who we are looking for:

• Strong attentional to detail.
• Undergrad degree in accounting or similar.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and practises, regulations and compliance.
• Working knowledge of Reckon, Salesforce, MYOB, QuickBooks and Tableau (desirable).
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel capability.
• Strong work ethics with the ability to multi-task and work to strict time deadlines.
• Appropriate handling of sensitive financial information.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build professional working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Adaptability – In an evolving business environment, you will thrive off change, embrace the challenge and adapt to meet the needs of the business.
