As Stratton’s Account Officer you will be working in our close-knit Accounts Team, reporting to the Management Accountant, and collaborating with the broader team and key business stakeholders. This is a 6-month fixed term contract assisting during a busy transformation period in assisting the accounts team with a variety of accounting duties, with a focus on supporting our Accounts Receivable function to track business revenue by ensuring payments are received and accurately recorded. A typical day will see you assisting the Accounts Receivable Officer in;

• Receipting and recording inbound payments, preparing and sending invoices
• Bank reconciliation, ensuring all bank accounts match AR/AP recorded transactions
• Monitoring accounts inbox, responding to all enquiries accurately and in a timely manner
• Supporting the broader accounts team in month end processes, accounts payable and payroll
• Ad hoc financial and operational reporting, supporting the broader Finance Team – there is no “I” in Team!

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Prior Experience as an accounts officer, accounts receivable or similar position
• Relevant finance or accounting degree is desirable
• Proven ability to multi-task, working autonomously to meet strict deadlines
• Understanding of accounting principles and practises, regulations, and compliance
• Working knowledge of Technology One, Blackline, Salesforce, and Tableau all desirable
• Excellent communication and the ability to build professional working relationships with key stakeholders
