Employment Status: Term Contract for up to 6 months
Employment Arrangement: Full-Time, 35 hours per week with access to our flex system
Salary Range: $73,400 to $84,400 per annum plus 10% superannuation.

About the Opportunity

This role provides the opportunity to administer the recruitment and selection process for Council and provide effective and efficient administration support to the HR & OD Team.

In line with this, the duties of this position are also to:

• Assist in the preparation of all letters and other correspondence as required;
• Provide information to staff in relation to general HR related enquires;
• Responsible for the records management of all HR information and correspondence;
• Assist in Council’s performance management programs, WH&S programs, health and well being programs, and other staff events as require;
• Assist with salary market surveys and other research as required;

• Maintain Establishment and Organisational chart and other documents as required;
• All other HR & OD duties as directed including ad hoc assistance in new projects, reporting and other initiatives

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualification in Human Resources, psychology or related field;
• Experience in administering recruitment and selection processes;
• Experience in providing customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Proven successful administration experience in a team environment;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with matters relating to the HR & OD Section;
• Ability to work independently without supervision;
• Strong attention to detail and high degree of organisational skills.

Salary and Conditions:

The salary range for this position is $73,400 to $84,400 per annum, plus 10% superannuation, dependent upon the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
