We’re recruiting a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team! We are looking for a passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our scaling team by sourcing, attracting and onboarding top talent with a focus on delivery of an exceptional candidate experience.

Note: This is a full-time role; however, we are open to considering exceptional candidates with 80% working capacity.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist’s Mission & Outcomes

Your mission is to…

• Establish effective relationships at all levels based on trust and provide recruiting related consultation, advice and counsel.
• 
  Execute high quality full cycle recruitment on onboarding.

  Contribute to other projects or priorities within the People & Culture team.

  Inspire and drive the implementation of the onboarding process.

  Cover the responsibilities and tasks of a Talent Acquisition Specialist.

The successful candidate will immediately contribute in the following ways:

1. Ensuring smooth and efficient recruitment and onboarding.
Motivated, emotionally intelligent, and organized Talent Acquisition Specialist with experience ideally within a global environment. You will play a pivotal role in recruiting top talent, and ensuring the execution of the onboarding process and effective and efficient communication to the new hires throughout the process.

2. Staying focused on priorities.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be the main point of contact for the leaders and hiring managers, helping them understand market conditions, internal barriers that might affect our ability to recruit and proposing solutions to overcome challenges. You will support all recruitment activities using your proactive and collaborative style.

Requirements For The Role
While this is a remote role, you must reside in Eastern Canada (GMT-5 or GMT-4) in order to be able to support the team’s needs best. All potential candidates will be scored on the following competencies.

These are the technical qualifications we require:

• 3+ years of Talent Acquisition experience preferably in a global setting.
• Experience developing and executing souring plans to identify and recruit top talent.
• Conduct behavioural and technical interviews to assess candidate’s ability to succeed in open positions.
• Preparing Job Postings and communications via the ATS.
• Willing to work autonomously with high attention to detail and able to demonstrate initiative and ownership with an strong pride in the quality of their work.
• Responsible for the Onboarding program and process, ensuring documents are up to date and look for new ways to improve the program.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• 
  Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and the capability to build and maintain positive working relationships with various stakeholders and colleagues.
• Striving to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Experience with ATS Systems and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Strong judgment skills and adept at exercising discretion, maintaining confidentiality, and building trust.
