Strategic Employment Partners Hiring for Senior Software Engineer Job at Massachusetts Full Time

A leader in the Biotech space who’s revolutionizing pathology labs with their software-driven, hardware-enabled product is hiring for a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team in Cambridge, MA. This is a key hire that will primarily develop, maintain, and deploy the company’s Linux OS image using primarily C/C++, Python, ROS, and Linux at the system level. This is a great chance to not only harden and maintain their optical camera and other hardware drivers, but also automate and build over-the-air deployment of their field devices.

Required:

• 5+ years of experience using Python or C++ working within Linux systems at the device driver level
• Experience debugging and testing USB or networked devices

Nice to have skills:

• Familiarity with package management systems (ideally dpkg/apt)
• Experience with ROS/ROS2, the Robot Operating System
• Knowledge of HIPAA, ISO 27001, data privacy, or similar regulatory environments
• Expert knowledge of Python or C++ and device driver level programming
