A remote Accounting Management position responsible for Company’s Accounting Operations including accounting and treasury functions, financial information systems, budgeting, general ledger, financial reporting, capital asset management, cash management, financial analyses, inventory maintenance, and business processes related to financial transactions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for the Company’s accounting functions including banking, cash management, capital asset management, general ledger functions, reconciliation of all bank accounts, financial accounting systems, payroll, client payments, etc.

2. Responsible for ensuring the Company has adequate internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions. Establishes standard accounting, analysis, and reporting procedures for cash management. Ensures compliance with all required regulatory statutes.

3. Responsible for assisting with the Company’s operating and capital budget preparation (in coordination with the CEO and Chief of Staff), including financial analyses, projections, statistical reports, general ledger development, etc. Monitors and forecasts future budget trends.

4. Responsible for preparation of the Company’s required analyses and financial reports including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, cash flow analysis, accounts receivable analyses, financial projections, statistical reports, and analyses, etc.

5. Responsible for Payroll Administration.

6. Limited travel to the home office and fulfillment center.

7. Assists CPA with the preparation of Tax Returns.

8. Assists Operations and IT with recommendations to improve the Company’s cash handling systems, procedures, and controls.

9. Responsible for the accounting functions related to employee benefits for the Company’s employees.

10. Maintains the Company’s financial and operating records, reports, and files in a systematic and organized manner.

11. Supervises and manages accounting staff to include hiring, firing, disciplinary action, etc.

12. Performs other duties as assigned by the CEO or Chief of Staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/BS in Accounting, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience, and 7 years of professional accounting experience. CPA preferred. The candidate must possess strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills. Experience with general ledger management, cash management, and accounting software required. Must be proficient with Microsoft products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
