Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd Looking for Senior Hydraulic Modeller at London Full Time

Senior Hydraulic Modeller
Central london – Hybrid working
£40,000 to £50,000 + package

A multi-disciplined engineering consultancy who have over 100 people across the business and have 10 offices in the UK are looking for a Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join their Water team in central London.

The Water Team specialises in providing advice to both public and private sectors clients on planning and design issues relating to Flood Risk, as well as the detailed design of Flood Protection,
Suds and Sewerage on Residential, Retail, Industrial, Commercial Developments and Public schemes throughout the UK.

Senior Hydraulic Modeller role: You will be running and helping a small team of Flood Modeller-TUFLOW and InfoWorks ICM modellers, conceptually design flood protection measures, provide drainage strategies,
leading to planning applications or construction drawings.

You will also assist and separately produce fee proposals and verify work.

Senior Hydraulic Modeller requirements and experience:
– A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
– Flood mitigation design from concept through to detailed design for private and public sector clients or either one
– Managing river modelling and hydrological analysis to support the design
– Drainage design and Flood Risk Assessments
– Preferred Competencies/Modelling and GIS Skills Essential.
– Designer of flood mitigation works
– Surface water management
– Drainage strategies for new developments
– Flood Modeller/ISIS-TUFLOW river modelling software together with InfoWorks ICM and MAP
– Info and or QGIS
– The design of sewers using WINDES or a similar/equivalent software package
