Straight Up Collective is a full-service beverage marketing company that works with restaurants and hotels on their programming needs, including cocktail development, wine consulting, menu design, photography, videography, training, and strategy.  Daily, we connect with the decision-makers in our accounts and beverage distributors across the beer, wine, spirit, and non-alcoholic segments.

About the Role

We seek a highly organized and motivated Key Account Manager. This position will be responsible for providing unwavering support across multiple accounts through daily client communication and collaborating across multiple departments internally. Duties involve, but are not limited to: proactive communication and planning with clients as well as the supplier and distributor network, managing project timelines from initial conception to fruition, strategic planning for present and future. This candidate must bring top notch interpersonal and organizational skills to best support the Straight Up Collective team.  

Candidate Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management, beverage programming or related experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Hospitality experience a major plus
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Efficient in all Microsoft Office / Google Suite applications
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline – throughout the entire life cycle

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Ability to self manage across multiple projects and objectives 
• Manage annual account timelines and plan accordingly 
• RFP meetings: plan, participate, follow-ups and take action
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Provide account updates consistently across departments regarding strategy, changes, and progress
• Manage communication with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and expected deliverables
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout all job requirements
• Measure account performance to identify wins and areas for improvement  
• Occasional travel
