RECRUITMENT MANAGER

The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven individual, with ambition to work and grow in a progressive environment to grow and develop the business. As the resourcing manager, you will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle that is faithful to the organization’s hiring strategy and culture. You will be the first and primary point of contact for all recruitment related matters, reporting direct to the Sales Manager & General Manager. You will implement company hiring policies that encourage employee diversity and identify strategies to find candidates who fit the company culture. This will include updating current and designing new recruitment procedures, supervising the recruitment team and reporting on its performance.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
· Responsible for the full recruitment cycle including but not limited to; design, implementation of efficient and effective recruitment processes to include ongoing review of current recruitment policies and processes
· Act as a key point of contact for all resourcing matters, liaising with senior management to understand hiring requirements for current and future roles both at store and centrally
· The creation of job advertisements, sourcing of candidates, filtering, candidate vetting and selection for interview
· Co-ordinate and communicate with candidates and internal stakeholders to schedule interviews
· Preparation of employment job offers, including: offer letters, employee onboarding and reference requests
· Administration of employee starter and leaver processes including; inductions and exit interviews to understand leaver reasons to share insight with senior management and improve ongoing recruitment plan
· Process documentation and prepare monthly reports and progress updates relating to all recruitment activities
· Participate where required in management meetings within the group to share insights and recruitment plan updates
· Lead and participate in career events and job fairs
· Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques
· Research and choose job advertising options which work best for the organisation
· Implement monitoring systems to ensure cost targets are met and improvements suggested
Key Skills Required
· Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a similar recruitment role for a business employing a minimum of 50 staff
· Familiarity with job board platforms, social media and other recruitment related professional networks
· Strong relationship building, management and communication skills
· Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation
· Broad knowledge of recruitment and latest recruitment developments
· Solid organization, multi-tasking skills and decision-making skills with high attention to detail
· Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
· Confident in using MS Office suite (word, excel, PowerPoint & MS Project)
Desirable experience but not essential
· Recruitment experience in Self Storage / Retail / Hospitality / Customer Services
· A degree in a HR (recruitment) related field
Hours of Work
· 40 hours per week
· Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.30
