Job Summary

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team! The ideal candidate should have at least 2-5 years of experience in Digital Marketing including SEO / SEM, marketing database, email, social media and advertising campaigns within multiple channels (Google, Facebook and others).

With a proven track record of improving local small business website rankings and traffic. The ideal candidate has previous experience in a marketing role, has excellent communication skills, and can work well both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective local SEO strategies for small business websites, including on-page optimization, technical SEO, keyword research, competitor analysis, and content strategy.
• Conduct regular site audits, track and on key SEO metrics, and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Monitor and analyze site traffic and user behavior to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
• Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO / SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
• Create, Launch, Manage, optimize, and organize PPC campaigns for clients, primarily in Google Ads
• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure the message and vision of the company are being communicated properly.
• Design, build and maintain our social media presence
• Measure and performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
• Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.

Requirements and Education :

• At least 2-5 years of SEO experience, with a focus on local small businesses.
• Experience with website analysis tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and others.
• Strong understanding of on-page optimization, technical SEO, keyword research, link building, and content strategy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with an openness to providing and receiving team feedback.
• Active team and client communications
• Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
• Proficiency with major digital marketing channels and social media tools (Google Ad Platform, Meta Business Suite, iContact, SocialPilot, HubSpot, etc).

Paid social experience a plus.

• Proficiency with photo and video editing tools (Canva, Adobe)
• Experience with WordPress / Elementor.
• Experience with managing and optimizing business listings such as Google Business Profile and Apple Maps Business Connect.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO best practices.
• Experience in an agency setting, creating custom SEO s, and face-to-face client ing is a plus!
• Bachelor’s (Preferred)
