Stonegate Group is the UK’s biggest Pub Group with over 3,000 sites nationally. Following a restructure, we’re looking for 2 Finance Business Partners to join the Finance team, supporting our Divisional Directors in running their businesses commercially. This is a great opportunity for a part or newly qualified CIMA/ACCA candidate to step into a true business partner role. We’re happy to support with onward study.

As the Finance Business Partner, you’ll use your analysis skills working within Excel and Power Bi to give your stakeholders the information they need to make informed decisions about their businesses. Having some knowledge of EPOS data or other Business Intelligence applications would be a really benefit for this role too.

Key facets of the Finance Business Partner role include:

• Business partnering

• Supporting Divisional Director’s with financial analysis to aid decision making
• Supporting company strategy using analysis to identifying areas of opportunity
• Quarterly target setting involving collaboration with key stakeholders
• Presenting at monthly business unit meeting is updating on financial performance against key KPI’s
• Leading the operations team through new FP&A processes and initiatives

• Reporting

• Using weekly KPI reporting to update the Operations teams on financial performance
• Ownership of the Net Income Forecast for your divisions
• Developing analysis within powerBI & excel
• Work with the financial accounting team to understand the period P&L and draw out key message on performance based on variances and trends
• Maintaining various databases including pub info, transition status and debt levels
