The purpose of the TALENT ACQUISITION MANAGER is to work with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for a variety of hotel and corporate positions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Source candidates through a variety of channels including Internet, cold calling, networking, referrals, and social networks.
- Posts, recruits, screens, interviews and recommends the most qualified candidates for hotel management and corporate staff.
- Identifies and secures sources of potential job candidates; including but not limited to networking, job-boards and online social networks, etc.
- Leverage assessment tools to identify and select the best candidate (Predictive Index)
- Work with designated hiring managers to review, analyze, and clarify job specifications/requirements and competencies/skills required for open positions.
- Improve and enable the hiring manager experience by educating and guiding them in assessment, selection and planning techniques including behavioral interviewing, validated assessments, roundtable assessment meetings, compliance initiatives and workforce planning efforts.
- Work with hiring manager to review candidates and select candidates to screen and interview.
- Work with hiring manager to arrange corporate interview schedule.
- Manage the recruiting process to ensure efficient progression of candidates.
- Maintains ongoing communications with perspective new hire candidates.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Applicant Tracking System including property training, project lead responsibilities, reporting & analytics, compliance, and internal user communication.
- Act as lead and change agent for talent acquisition programs and special projects such as but not limited to process efficiency, candidate quality, hiring manager satisfaction, metric analysis, and ATS implementation.
- Maintains regular attendance and is consistently on time.
- Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
- Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to write reports and correspondence.
- Must be able to keep information confidential.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Proficient in HRI systems, time keeping system and applicant tracking systems.
- Previous experience with Taleo ATS is preferred.
- Proficient at MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- PHR certification preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment normally entails the following:
- Indoor work environment
- Minimal to moderate noise levels consistent with hotel environment

The physical activity normally entails typical office and hotel environment.
Position is expected to:
