The Position

We are looking for experienced consultants or technical trainers who are interested in becoming certified Mirantis instructors.

SDG has a weekly pipeline of 2 – 5 day courses it needs to fill with certified instructors on a 1099/C2C basis. Our instructors pick and choose both their schedules and the courses they want to certify to teach. Our pipeline of work makes this the ideal job for anyone interested in a flexible and mainly remote work schedule.

SDG offers all of the training required to become a certified Mirantis instructor for qualified candidates. In addition, we offer up to $10,000 per year to compensate our instructors for time, study materials, and exam fees required to obtain instructor certifications.

The Requirements

• Already possess the Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification

• US Citizen – we currently do not support H1-B, OPT, EAD visas

• Work availability M – F 8 AM – 5 PM local timezone

• Willingness to travel up to 25% (expense paid)

• 10 years of enterprise systems technical experience

• 5 years experience in one or many flavors of UNIX/Linux

• 3 Years experience with public cloud administration – AWS, IBM, GCP

• 1 year experience in an internal or external training role

• Proven track record of quick learning

The Location and Travel

SDG operates in North America and Europe with offices in Chattanooga, TN and Raleigh, NC. This role is based in the Southeast Region. Due to the pandemic, all team members work from their home offices. Post-pandemic, this role may also require up to 25% travel.
