STITCH Boutique Hiring for Retail Sales Associate/Social Media Assistant at Madison, NJ Full Time

We’re searching for an experienced individual who has a strong focus on client services, product knowledge, visual presentation, and store organization to successfully carry out the responsibilities of Full-Time Sales Associate.  If you are outgoing, enthusiastic, and retail-savvy with a passion for fashion and a drive to continually learn and develop then this could be the perfect job for you!

The ideal candidate should:

• Have prior retail clothing boutique experience
• Have a well-developed eye for women’s fashion and style and keep up to date with current trends
• Be friendly, approachable, and welcoming to all customers
• Present themselves in a professional manner and take pride in the appearance and upkeep of the store
• Be familiar with using the Shopify platform for ecommerce
• Be well-versed in all social media platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, etc)
• Be comfortable being in front of the camera and creating social media content on a regular basis
• Have an eye for merchandising/styling and the ability to create appealing windows, store displays, and flat lays for posting on social media outlets
• Assists in coming up with sale promotions and marketing plans as needed
• Has an eye for design, color concepts and our particular brand aesthetic
• Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and deliver exceptional customer service
• Be a team player who takes initiative and can jump in wherever needed
• Thrive in a busy and active work environment
• Be able to multi-task effectively
• Have a strong work ethic and sense of urgency
• Be able to meet the physical demands of working in a retail environment such as being on your feet for long stretches of time, lifting boxes, climbing ladders, etc.
• Should have excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail
• Tuesday – Saturday 10-5:30pm with flexibility to work additional hours as needed based on store events, holidays, etc.

Job Duties:

• Assist customers in all aspects
• Operate the Point of Sale system which includes, but is not limited to, processing sales and returns/exchanges, entering/updating customer info, creating gift cards, etc.
• Maintain the expected level of store presentation (organizing racks, folding, replenishing sizes, changing mannequins, updating table and window displays, etc.)
• Check-in, enter, price, tag, steam, and merchandise new inventory.
• Keep abreast of all current store policies, promotions, events, etc.
• Process and ship online orders
• Manage and update ecommerce website on Shopify
• Create regular content for social media outlets and keep abreast of latest social media trends
• Clean the store daily

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
