Job Description:

Stewart and Company is rapidly expanding and we are looking for a Manager to run day-to-day operations

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day operations of the Firm
• Maintain and enforce all employee policies
• Extend all job offers once cleared by Partners
• Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Provide disciplinary action as needed as well as keeping Partners informed
• Oversee all Human Resource functions.
• Assign new clients to Teams as needed.
• Maintain company insurance policies
• Reconcile company bank statements
• Approve checks for Partner signature.
• Maintain daily Bank Deposits
• Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested

Qualifications:

• 7+ years in public accounting firm management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Management or related field preferred
• No candidates will be considered unless they have Accounting Firm Management experience!
