Stevens Industries Inc Hiring for Inventory Control Manager at Teutopolis, IL Full Time

The Inventory control manager has the responsibility for developing and overseeing all aspects of inventory management for Stevens Industries, Inc. This responsibility includes both inventory tracking as well as replenishing raw materials, packaging, hardware, and finished products to meet production demands and deliver to the customer on time. This is considered a key position within Stevens Industries and the development and execution of the Inventory control manager’s cost containment and efficiency strategy is critical to the company’s overall profitability.

Requirements:

• Oversee and create inventory control and purchasing strategies with specific objectives; this includes building standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency.
• Lead inventory planning and inventory forecasting through collaboration with sales, production, and engineering departments
• Assist in evaluating suppliers to ensure trade partners are meeting or exceeding expectations in the areas of quality, cost, service, and delivery performance
• Foster strong professional relationships with production supervisors, schedulers, and buyers to understand the upcoming manufacturing and business needs
• Consistently analyzes and s on current inventories and procedures and implements improvements to increase the efficiency of the supply chain and profitability for the company
• Oversees the daily workflow of the inventory and warehouse departments; hires, trains, and supervises personnel within these departments
