Financial Client Account Manager

Stevens Foster Financial Advisors – Bloomington, MN — Stevens Foster is a highly respected Registered Investment Advisory firm consistently ranked among the top advisors in the country. We provide fully integrated financial planning to high net worth and corporate clients.

Summary:

This position is the primary connection between the client and our firm. You must have the experience to manage the client relationship and lead the workflow of firm-created financial strategies. You must develop a trusting relationship with the client, understand and convey client goals and objectives; work productively with Stevens Foster team to design effective options to meet client goals; and personally convey those options to the client.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

· Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with clients.

· Assist clients and ensure the successful delivery of our services according to client needs and objectives.

· Assist clients and our tax team with tax preparation and tax estimates throughout the year.

· Be responsible for working with other departments; liaise between the client and internal teams.

· Be responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis.

Required skills and experience:

· 5 years of financial services experience required.

· Tax background preferred.

· Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in an accounting discipline or related field preferred.

· CFP or CPA/PFS preferred.

· Basic understanding of financial terminology, investment knowledge, individual tax, life and disability insurance, social security benefits, estate planning, employee benefit plans, deferred compensation, stock options, college funding strategies, retirement plans, and tax principles.
