S&A was founded in 1990 as a small Civil Engineering firm with just two members. Since then, we have grown and we are now a team of 25 professionals. S&A’s offices are in downtown Brattleboro, Vermont, overlooking the Connecticut River. JOB DESCRIPTION
S&A is looking for an exceptional accountant who can balance being in the details with stepping back and seeing the company’s big picture!
This position will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for S&A’s accounting, financial statement preparation, and month-end close activities. In addition, this individual will work with our project managers to complete project invoices each month on a soon-to-be-implemented accounting system (CORE). Ideally, this individual will become our CORE “Super-User” and will be able to train project managers on how to utilize CORE in accessing information to best manage their projects. In addition to S&A accounting, this individual will be responsible for the accounting functions and financial statement preparation of additional entities, including M&S Development (a sister company of S&A).

S&A offers a competitive salary commensurate with the level of experience.
