Sterling ATM is looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Assistant Accounting Manager.

• Staff accounting, general accounting with some knowledge of Cost accounting in a manufacturing setting.
• Review of bills of material and work with departments to ensure accuracy
• Report on margins by product to drive pricing decisions/improvements
• Analyze and recommend costs and cost savings.
• Make estimates of new and proposed product costs.
• Provide reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability
• Report on periodic variances and their causes
• Prepare and complete internal cost audits.
• Prepare and post month-end general ledger journal entries and maintain documentation
• Report scrap and productivity percentages
• Provide detailed spend analysis and recommend cost savings
• Determine the costs and efficiency of Company purchasing activities
• Track and report repair & maintenance costs to aide in repair vs. buy analysis
• Perform any other accounting or finance related duties as required or assigned

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and able to work independent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting for related field
• Solid grounding in cost accounting principles
• Cost Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Self-motivated individual and must be able to effective balance a large workload
• Excellent follow-up skills with the ability to follow through to completion
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and multi-task on multiple projects
• Ability to read blueprints and understand engineering documents
• Systems and creative thinking capabilities
• Experienced with Microsoft desktop applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point, Access)
• Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports

We are seeing rapid growth in our Bean Trailer division and we are looking for an exceptional Accountant who is enthusiastic about their work and passionate about being a team member to help the company continue to grow.

Our Bean Trailer was voted, “Coolest Product Made in Utah” in 2020 and winner of the 2020 manufacturer of the year award. Our Bean Trailers are an off road, tear drop trailer and are built to withstand rugged terrains. They are equipped with a Timbren Independent suspension, Max coupler hitch and off road tires. This will definitely get the job done!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per hour
