Reporting to the Group Content Manager, the HR Consultant will lead on HR/Employment Law content creation and on the continuous maintenance and improvement of existing information and support services and will support with research and development of new products and services.
The HR Consultant ensures that HR content, information and support services are up to date and delivered in a form which is readable and understandable, engaging, informative and effective at promoting the FPM Group brand.
Using their knowledge and expertise, the HR Consultant will ensure the relevance, quality and timely delivery of all content, information and support services.
Key Job Activities:
Respond to member HR queries sent via the advice line by email and on the telephone.
Maintain statistics on the advice line questions in relation to query types, originator and outcomes.
Accurate records of all advice line queries to ensure a full audit trail is kept for each enquiry.
Maintain the HR guidance and support sections of the FPM family of products, including our library of model HR & employment law protocols, policies, procedures, letters, forms and templates.
Continuous improvement of existing documents and creation of new templates to ensure the library remains legally compliant and meets the needs of our customers.
Keep up to date with government legislation and policy changes which affect existing HR content by monitoring, joining, subscribing to relevant legislative bodies and information source, using this knowledge to proactively update and improve existing website content.
Networks and engages with industry contacts to maintain and expand current knowledge of healthcare and to gain insight into issues and developments with a view to enhancing current content and services and generating ideas for new content and services.
Preparing articles, commentary, blog posts (in written or video form) and other communications of interest to FPM Group members for publication to our products, websites and any external contributions where available.
Support in the preparation and delivery of HR related training and workshops for the FPM Group as required.
Provide support and advice with the ongoing development and delivery of the FPM recruitment service.
Education:
Required Education: Bachelor’s or equivalent
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s or equivalent
Experience (EMEAA):
3+ Years of Experience
Required: CIPD Level 5 certification (or working to that standard)
Preferred: Level 5 (CIPD) or equivalent experience, or relevant degree in this field.
Good knowledge and understanding of employment law
Experience of interpreting HR related issues/enquiries and advising on risk and the best course of action.
Written communication skills in order to produce succinct customer correspondence, scholarly articles, blog posts and reports.
Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation.
The ability to research, analyse and reason logically and effectively within tight and conflicting timeframes.
Researching and recommending policy and legislation updates to documents, templates and guidance (e.g., employee appraisal systems).
Ability to communicate with people at all levels.
Good range of IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, HR information management systems and other software tools (e.g., compliance management systems).
Experience of delivering commercial HR and Employment Law training.
Complex case management e.g., supporting FPM Group and/or central HR team with various investigations.
Certifications and/or Licenses:
