The Senior Benefits Manager is responsible for planning and delivering health, disability, leaves, pension/retirement and wellness (physical, mental, financial) programs. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity and consistency of our program application across the company. This role will also contribute to, and bring to life, the global benefits philosophy through thoughtful program development. This is a hands-on position in a high growth, global organization. Partnering across HR and Finance, this role manages all activities related to time off / leaves, health & disability, pension/retirement and wellness programming.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the planning, administration, support, documentation and delivery of benefits (including leave and time off, pension and health) programs & processes; includes developing & leading HR, employee & Manager training.
Provide assessment and recommendations on new benefit options, new markets or overall enhancements to program design, policy, philosophy, strategy and technology and their subsequent implementation
Manages the day-to-day vendors relationships ensuring that our service levels are maintained, issues are escalated and documentation remains current.
Evaluate the competitiveness of the benefits programs; formulate recommendations & presentations to address any gaps and inconsistencies
Collaborate with the HR Shared Services team to ensure that all aspects of the day-to-day benefit administration & invoice processing & reconciliation runs efficiently; provide Tier 3 support for employee & shared services questions
Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field
Strong knowledge of UK and European benefits & retirement plans, CEBS designation an asset
Experience in global benefits program design is an asset
