Full Job Description
We are on a mission to revolutionize the way Third Party Contractors and Tradespeople work, and we need a Professional Trades Recruiter to help make it happen. As a ‘Stellar Pro Recruiter’, you will recruit Professional Tradespeople and General Contractors to join Stellar’s online marketplace for the home repair industry. You will work from our Dallas-office (with occasional travel to the market in person) and cover an assigned geographical area (the ‘market’). You’ll leverage traditional and digital marketing channels to grow your contacts and build relationships through industry-related trade schools, networking groups, and trade shows as well as traditional job boards to bring skilled Tradespeople (Plumbers, Electricians, General Contractors, HVAC, etc) on to our two-sided managed marketplace for the Single Family Rental space.

The Pro Trades Recruiter leads the Contractor Experience by identifying, attracting, and recruiting Tradespeople to the platform followed successfully onboarding them on to our platform, and then partnering with our internal Operations teams to retain them.
This position is based in Dallas, TX.
What You Will Do:
- Build brand awareness through marketing, social media and networking in their specific markets
- Introduce new contractors / Tradespeople to our platform and features while establishing Stellar as the marketplace of choice
- Develop and execute initiatives to increase lead generation and build new relationships
- Recruit, onboard and maintain a strong and consistent pipeline of excellent tradespeople within an assigned market
- Schedule and conduct remote onboarding and new contractor orientation sessions
- Develop strategies for growing Stellar’s name recognition and reputation through networking and industry referrals
- Coach Contractors/Tradespeople on our stellar customer service and SLA’s
- Proactively build bench of qualified Tradespeople in order to meet the Work Order demands from Clients and Account Management
- Travel to respective markets to recruit and build awareness (up to 10%)
What You Bring:
- Two (2) years of marketing, recruiting or sales experience
- HS Diploma plus some college preferred
- Proven experience executing online marketing and social media strategies
- Ability to influence others both internally and externally
- Excellent critical thinking skill with the ability to to develop and nurture relationships
- Passion for learning and innovation
- Evidence of proactive problem solving skills
- Previous recruiting experience in home repair, construction, or related industries is a plus
