Job Description:

Stellantis Australia are seeking to engage a Corporate Communications Coordinator (Internship) who is responsible for providing support in developing and executing an integrated communications strategy for Jeep, Alfa Romeo and Fiat. This will include updating daily and weekly PR s, administration coordination duties, writing of press releases, coordinating product launches, press fleet management, story pitching and helping with content creators and ambassadors.

This position is a 12-month full-time contract position, and all applicants must currently be undertaking a University Bachelor’s degree.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with development of press and briefing materials including media kits, press releases, product presentations.
• Help manage press fleet and press fleet movements
• Support product launches
• Manage budgets for new product launches, events and bespoke consumer media opportunities
• Develop bespoke media opportunities, driving unique and topical content for Stellantis’s brands
• Work collaboratively with the marketing department to identify, execute and leverage key ambassadors and sponsorship properties to support the overall marketing & communications strategy
• Product Launches – work closely with the marketing and product planning teams on developing their go to market marketing campaign and media strategy in launching new products to ensure Marketing and PR are aligned across all mediums
• Work in collaboration with the marketing team and external agencies on paid amplification and media spend to maximise editorial opportunities around key brand activities and supporting ongoing editorial calendar
• Working with the social media manager and associated agencies to develop a strategy including overall content plan and strategy, including digital influencer program, providing assistance on brand messaging around complex customer complaints and recalls
• Help with tracking systems / ing formats to measure, optimise and ensure effectiveness of the overall communications plan

Requirements:

• Must currently be undertaking a marketing, communications or business bachelor degree at University;
• Must be available to work full-time for 12 months;
• No PR or Marketing experience necessary, but internships throughout university will be highly regarded
• Interest in automotive landscape desirable, but not mandatory
• Applied understanding of basic PR principles
• Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively with people of all levels, both within the business and agencies
• High level of Attention to Detail
• Ability to prioritise, multi-task, problem solve and have time management skills
• Microsoft Office suite experience
• Familiarity with Google Analytics
• Ability to take direction and execute
• Eager to learn and grow within a dynamic work environment
• Willingness to work hard and roll up sleeves to get work done, even when at times it is outside the scope of the job
