VICE PRESIDENT OF GLOBAL SALES
Our client, the K.A. Group, is a global leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of earthmoving scrapers and accessories for the construction, mining, and agricultural industries. K.A. Group is comprised of three brands, namely K-Tec, Ashland, and Metalcraft, with the brands’ products being differentiated by size, target markets, and the technologies offered. Headquartered in Rosenort, Manitoba, Canada, K.A. Group also maintains manufacturing and distribution facilities in Ashland, Wisconsin and Louisville, Georgia.
ing to the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO), this senior executive leadership position will be accountable for all whole goods sales of all K.A. Group brands globally. With a focus on growth through increasing market share throughout the world, this position may be located in Canada or USA, ideally in Manitoba, Wisconsin, Colorado, or Georgia.
Main Responsibilities
› Lead a sales team of approx. 15 personnel
› Develop, implement, maintain, and manage all dealer/distributor interactions
› Collaborate with Director of Marketing for go-to-market strategies (strategies may change market by market) for all products/sectors, focusing on both the dealer as well as end user.
› Collaborate with Director of Sales Support for a unified whole goods and parts sales approach
› Identify New Dealership opportunities
› Establish and deploy comprehensive Dealer Portal
› Attend and ensure professional presence at all corporate appearances at Industry Tradeshows and Product Demonstration Events
Key Performance Metrics
› Revenue Growth of >10% annually
› Develop/Launch International sales strategy
› Working closely with Operations and Material functions, lead the Sales portion of the SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) process to maintain 6 months of firm orders in the backlog
› Build a robust sales pipeline and maintain reasonable visibility on market demand up to 12 months
› Implement a comprehensive strategy for dealer inventory tracking
Qualifications
› 10 plus years of proven leadership skills across all organizational levels, with the ability to build and motivate winning sales teams
› Proven expertise in international business development
› Located in Canada or USA, ideally in Manitoba, Wisconsin, Colorado, or Georgia
› Available to travel +50% of the time internationally
› Extensive knowledge in construction or agriculture industry specific dealer programs
› Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills
› Charismatic, self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
