Glenaeon Preschool is rated Exceeding in all Quality Areas and is part of Glenaeon Rudolf Steiner School, located on Sydney’s Lower North Shore on a stand-alone campus in Willoughby, next to Bales Park. There are two mixed-age preschool rooms catering for 3-5 year-old children.

We are seeking an experienced Educator to lead our team at Glenaeon Preschool as Director. The position is a fixed-term contract for one year covering staff leave, beyond which there may be an opportunity to take up the role permanently. In addition to day-to-day running of the Preschool, the focus is preparing for Assessment and Rating and developing and implementing the Quality Improvement Plan. The role is supported by the Head of School, Educational Executive and an administration/accounts assistant 2-3 days per week. The School’s accounts department manages the payroll and budget.

To be considered for the position you will need to be a qualified Educator plus hold qualifications/training in Steiner Education or experience working in a Steiner Preschool or School. Prior experience as a Director, facilitating the QIP, managing compliance and preparing for Assessment and Rating are all pre-requisites for this role. A Working With Children Clearance will also be required prior to commencement.
